For people living rough, who often face rejection when trying to enter public spaces with animals, these laundromats become rare places of comfort and dignity. While clothes spin and dry, dogs can be gently washed, brushed, and wrapped in warmth.

Laundromat owners say the idea came from seeing people wash their pets in bathroom sinks or outdoor taps. By offering a proper station, they hope to reduce strain, improve hygiene, and show care without judgment. It’s hard. It’s really very hard.

Many of you may have heard about the situation Animal Lovers League (ALL) is currently going through, and our hearts are truly heavy.

ALL urgently needs loving homes for many of the animals in their care so they can return their units to Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS). This is a deeply painful and overwhelming moment for any shelter, and the animals need help.

During this time, their big dogs (Singapore Specials) and cats are desperately in need of safe, warm homes where they can finally feel secure and loved.

Important note: Under **Project ADORE, dogs 55cm and below (shoulder height) are still allowed in HDB homes.

Right now, ALL is urgently looking for:

1. Adopters — kind-hearted individuals who can love and care for an animal for life
2. Fosterers — compassionate homes that can provide long-term care
(Medical bills will be supported by the shelter at their assigned clinic)
3. Those who can help spread the word so these precious lives can be seen

Please note that careful screening will still be carried out to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, suitable, and loving environment.
