We had the joy of bringing our community together through two meaningful events in a single day โ each filled with gratitude, connection, and heart.
๐๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฏ, we hosted our Annual Christmas Celebration for clients across all our programmes. The day was made lively with games and activities thoughtfully organised by our dedicated staff and volunteers. This year was extra special as we welcomed our little guests from Marymount Preschool โ the K1 children delighted our clients with performances they had lovingly prepared, followed by a warm gift exchange between ABLE, the children, and our clients. The celebration continued with food and fellowship, creating a beautiful space for connection and shared joy. We are deeply thankful to Marymount Preschool and the wonderful children for being part of this meaningful celebration, and to every staff and volunteer who made the day possible.
๐๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ข๐บ ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ, we gathered again โ this time to appreciate our staff, volunteers, and board members for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. Over food and fellowship, we took part in a candle-making workshop, where each candle crafted became a symbol of care, encouragement, and light. Exchanging the candles with one another reminded us that every act of service matters, and together, we continue to shine light into the lives of those we support โ and each other.

Many of you may remember Dr Jessica Ee, whom we previously featured for her remarkable recovery journey. CNA has now shared her powerful story โ from model and dermatologist to stroke survivor, and her unwavering determination to regain her independence and return to medicine.
Her courage, resilience and quiet strength continue to inspire us and so many others.
On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are reminded that every person is created in the image and likeness of God โ precious, worthy, and deeply loved. Christ is present in our brothers and sisters with disabilities, inviting us to recognise Him in their lives, their stories, and their dignity.
We are called not just to see, but to love โ to let our compassion move into action, to advocate for true inclusion, and to help build a community where no one is overlooked or left behind. May we learn from the heart of Jesus Himself : to welcome, honour, and embrace every person with the same love He so freely gives.
At ABLE, we journey with persons with acquired physical disabilities and their caregivers through rehabilitation, reintegration, return-to-work and respite. Our mission is to restore dignity, renew hope, and walk with each person with compassion and faith.

Love in Action indeed! A heartfelt thank you to CHIJ Kellock for welcoming us so warmly and hosting such a meaningful encounter. It was truly inspiring to engage with your students and witness their genuine care, curiosity, and enthusiasm in learning about and supporting persons with disabilities.
Moments like these remind us of the power of compassion and inclusion, and how together, we can build a more understanding and inclusive community. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, share, and learn alongside your amazing students.

Weโre so proud to share that 6 of our ABLE clients gave it their all at the 15M Health Games, organised by NHG today. While they didnโt take home the trophy, their effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm were absolutely inspiring ๐ช๐
From Pedal Power to Walking Football, Bonding Boccia, and more โ the Games were designed to be inclusive and fun for all ages and abilities, and our clients truly embodied the spirit of the event. It was heartening to see their confidence grow, teamwork shine, and bonds strengthen through every game played.
A big thank you to ABLE Team, Ageless Bicyclist, and our clientsโ family caregivers who supported, guided, and cheered them on throughout the day ๐ Your encouragement made this experience extra special.
Though the scoreboard may not show a win, what we witnessed today was a victory of spirit, inclusion, and community. ๐
