This morning, came together and completed the at Gardens by the Bay. Despite the heavy rain earlier, we give thanks and praise the Lord that the skies cleared just in time, blessing us with wonderful weather for the walk ๐ŸŒค๏ธ. It was a beautiful reminder of Godโ€™s grace and the joy of journeying together in community.

A special highlight this year โ€” we had the privilege of catching a photo with our Guest of Honour, Minister Ong Ye Kung ๐Ÿ“ธ.

On 30 May 2025, ABLE was honoured to be part of "Hope That Enables" โ€” an evening organised by the Church of St Mary of the Angels that brought together individuals and organisations supporting mental health, special needs, and disabilities.

Our Respite Manager, Ms Sharon Woo, was part of the eveningโ€™s expert panel, sharing insights from over a decade of experience walking alongside caregivers โ€” listening to their struggles, offering support, and helping them rediscover balance in their lives.

At ABLE, we recognise that caregivers need care too. Through our Respite Programme, we journey with families who often give so much of themselves, quietly and tirelessly.

We were proud to be part of the SG60 SwimTogether Singapore launch at Delta Swimming Complex on 24 May, graced by Guest-of-Honour Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for MCCY.

Our clients from ABLEโ€™s Reintegration Programme showed incredible determination in the pool โ€” going beyond their own targets and swimming with heart and grit. ๐Ÿ’ช Together as a team, we clocked an impressive 188 laps! ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ

A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers for cheering our swimmers on and making this experience so meaningful. The energy, support, and spirit of inclusion truly made this a day to remember. โœจ

Our story

Our mission: To enable the physically challenged to live with dignity and to have a productive, meaningful and independent life

Abilities Beyond Limitations and Expectations (ABLE) provides rehabilitation therapy, training and job support to enable physically challenged to return to suitable and sustainable employment.

ABLE also offers respite services to Family Caregivers and their physically challenged Care Recipients.
