Patient D whom I performed a single incision laparoscopic gallbladder surgery for her 4 years ago, called me last night saying she's now in pain and needed an appendicectomy. The first few questions she asked me was 'Can you do it through the single hole technique again?'...dispels all doubt,... patients prefer this 'scarless' approach...

17 years ago, went to France to learn from my mentor how to perform key hole surgery for liver tumors and subsequently published a paper with him to standardize the technique for resection of left lateral portion of the liver. Thankful that I can now publish my own experience and share my standardized technique to resect the full left liver using laparoscopic approach. Thank you, Prof Daniel Cherqui!
