Dear Patients,

With effect from 1st July 2022 (Friday), flu subsidy scheme will cease for PHPC. Patients will no longer enjoy flat rate of $5/10 when present with flu like symptoms.

Patient will need to pay for the usual consultation charges + medications while ART and PCR will still be fully subsidised by govt for patients with flu like symptoms.

You may use your CHAS Blue/ Orange/ Merdeka/ PG card if you have flu like symptoms. Usual CHAS subsidies can be applied.

Dear patients and residents,

The latest Northern Strain Flu Vaccine (2021/2022) is in.
Free ( Govt- paid) for Singaporean Children between 6 months to below 5 years old.

Heavily subsidised for Singaporean adults > 65 years old, pregnant ladies or patients with Diabetes, Asthma, Heart Disease and Stroke.
$45 b4 GST for all other groups of patients.

No appointment needed. You may walk in for your flu vaccine. Do try come at least an hour before our clinic closing time.

Dear Residents,

For all who have been to Chinatown Complex between 8-11 September 2021, you may come for a government-funded swab from now till 18th September 2021 (Saturday).

No payment or Trace together proof of visit or SMS from government needed. Swab is fully government-funded.

You simply need to bring along your IC and inform us when have you have been to Chinatown Complex upon registration.

Swabs can be performed on weekday nights and weekends as well.

Please come at least an hour before our closing time in order for the swabs to be processed as early as possible.

Dear Patients and Residents,

The latest flu vaccine - Southern Hemisphere 2021 has just arrived at My Family Clinic(Angsana Breeze @ Yishun)!

As the Southern Hemisphere vaccine has changed from the previous Northern Hemisphere 2020 vaccine, patients who were vaccinated previously are advised to undergo the new vaccine due to seasonal change.

The same CHAS subsidies for the flu vaccine applies (even if you have been vaccinated previously) - Free for Singaporean children between 6 months to less than 5 years old, heavily subsidised by government for elderly above 65 years old, pregnant ladies in any trimester and patients of any age who has diabetes/ asthma/ dementia// stroke/ epilepsy/ parkinsons disease/ ischemic heart disease/ chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/ chronic kidney disease.

You can take the influenza jab before or after your COVID-19 vaccination. Just ensure that these 2 vaccines are done at least 2 weeks apart.

You may walk-in to clinic at least 30 minutes before closing time for your influenza vaccination. No appointment is required.

Dear Patients and Residents,

Gentle reminder to all patients who are diagnosed with acute respiratory infection that they are required to stay at home till the end of their 5 days MC or receiving their COVID-19 swab results stating that they are tested negative for COVID-19, whichever is earlier.

Kindly note the prevailing guideline is that all patients from the age of 13 years old will be offered to do a COVID-19 swab test if they present with upper respiratory tract symptoms such as flu, cough, sorethroat, fever etc.

Patients who decline the COVID-19 Swab test has to be issued a mandatory 5 days MC equivalent to a stay home notice, starting on the date of clinic's visit. Patients who agree to undergo a COVID-19 swab test will be given a mandatory minimum 3 days MC where they need to stay at home till results are out. Patients can check their results on https://www.healthhub.sg/ or wait for their results to be sent via SMS to them by the government portal.

We urge everyone to be responsible and do our part in the fight against COVID-19.
