Dr Toh Bin Chet and Dr Thng Yong Xian were once our trainee doctors back in TTSH and SGH years ago. When they indicated an interest to join us 2 years ago after making the decision to leave the public sector for private, we gladly took them under our wings.

Having completed their 2-year contract, we invited them to stay on with us. However, having established themselves, they felt that they are now ready to start their own solo private practice. Whilst we are sad to lose them, nonetheless, we wish them the very best. We are happy that we have been given the opportunity to nurture them. May they shine even brighter in their new practices.

As always, The Best Is Yet To Be.

Dr Thng Yong Xian was recently invited to share his experience on the management of gallstones. This is a very common condition that we see. It is estimated that globally, 6% of the population have gallstones.

Dr Thng was asked about the symptoms of gallstones, the potential complications and the treatment options available.

Renovations for our new clinic at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore has been completed. MOH Licensing Inspection is also over. We hope to get the green light from MOH to start soon, hoping to open our doors to the first patient by the 13th Dec 2024, God willing.
