•Medical Consultation (10 am to 10pm daily)

•Management of Acute Conditions (examples would be : Acute infections such as upper respiratory tract infections and Gastroenteritis, dermatological eruptions, etc. )

•Management of Chronic Conditions (examples would be : Diabetes, Hypertension, Asthma, etc.) CHAS AND PG ACCREDITED.

•Vaccinations (examples would be :Travel Vaccinations, routine childhood immunisations and flu vaccinations- please check with us before you come)

•Medical Check ups (examples would be : Domestic helper fitness for employment, employment pass applications and renewals, work permit medicals, student passes, Permanant residence medicals, social visit passes etc.) We have doctors who are 1) Family Physicians 2) Trained In Mental Health 3) Trained in Occupational Medicine. Vaccinations for Hepatitis-B, Typhoid, and Tetanus are also available.

•At Tayka Medical, Doctors are also trained to perform minor surgeries ranging from toilet and sutures for lacerations due to injuries, lump excisions, cryotherapy for dermatological lesions to toenail avulsions/wedge resections for ingrown nails.

•Tayka Medical clinic also has capabilities to conduct comprehensive laboratory investigations such as HIV serology, VDRL serology, Hepatitis-B serology, Diabetes panel routine bloods, blood grouping, kidney/liver function tests, lipid profiles, urine and stool examinations. These and many more tests are available at our clinic.

•We also have the means to test and treat sexually transmitted diseases and other sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

•We have an ECG machine to aid in the diagnosis of heart problems.

•Hotel out-call and House-call services are provided 24 hours a day at a reasonable negotiable rate.

Osteoporosis can be a real problem ...especially if you have risk factors, like a family history of the condition, smoking or alcohol use or have taken medication like steroids at some stage in your life.

A lot of a slim "young" ladies are particularly at risk as they approach 50 and menopause.

If diagnosed with Bone Thinning or OSTEOPOROSIS, 2 injections a could save you a lot of pain and disability.

Ask your GP for more advice and also about how you can use medisave and other government subsidies too pay for the treatment.

But more importantly don't smoke , drink in moderation, do some weight bearing exercises, get sunlight!! ,and eat a healthy diet!
