I had an interesting conversation with my client a few weeks ago and she brought up something relevant to share.

She had browsed through my work on Facebook and Instagram and was looking at all the Energy Paintings on there. She said that while she enjoyed looking at all of them, she felt she couldn’t see how they would relate to her. Despite this, her curiosity and willingness to try on something new made her ask me to create an Energy Painting for her.

Once I delivered the painting to her she said she was amazed. She said she hadn’t been sure how it would turn out, how she would relate to it. This painting of mine is nothing like the previous ones you have made, she said. While she liked the art she saw, she didn’t know what to expect when it came to her own painting.

I love, love, love that she was open to trying something new. What she realised when she eventually saw her painting was that she could identify with it right away. All the symbols and images were relevant to her. Some of the symbols had already showed up in other areas of her life and she acknowledged the beautiful journey of self discovery she was on.

🌟 Yay! 🌟

So, here is the thing,

💫 Each Energy Painting is UNIQUE and is just the right one for the person commissioning it! No two painting will ever look alike because no two people are exactly alike.

💫 This isn’t about my style as an artist, it is about your style as a soul having a human experience! Isn’t this so amazingly cool!

💫 It has colours, images and ideas specific to only to YOU, the subject of the painting! Most likely, your favourite colours or things you are preoccupied with will show up.

💫 The artwork is an extension of YOU, the individual commissioning it (not of me), and so is meant to reflect just you. The energy of the painting is only meant for you.

Meet Smokey.

Smokey is a three years old Singapore local that loves late nights, plastic bags and is the queen of my home.

Smokey is also a energy aficionado. She loves all things energy, being around healing energy, receiving healing energy, and most importantly can sense high vibrational energy. Whenever I am doing energy work, she will appear- so that means she is with me most of the time! 😉

If you have ever received an Energy Painting from me, you can be sure it has been with her blessing. She will sniff, hover around, or rub on all my paintings. I see it as her way of sending some love to you! ❤️

We all have days when nothing seems or feels right. We may feel like we have failed ourselves or others. Maybe we don’t want to be where we are and getting to where we want to be, to our goals, is taking longer than we had hoped. I’ve been in this place myself, many times in fact. These are a few reminders I give myself when I’m feeling overwhelmed.

It is true. Seeing something can be more powerful that simply hearing about it. Even if we think we have a pretty good handle on ourselves and our energy, there still are things that fall out of our sphere of awareness. When driving a car, we actually have a term for this- blind spot. Think about all those little things that hide in our blind spots. Wouldn’t it be cool if we could actually see them?
 
When I look into someone’s energy, I see things- symbols, colours, other energetic beings among other things. When I draw someone’s energy out for them, they are then able to see those very things themselves. Who wouldn’t want to know what is hanging out with them or around them? I know I would.
 
One client had this to say:
 
‘I knew I was feeling something difficult to name. I was stuck and couldn’t see a way forward. When I looked at my Energy Portrait, I connected with it immediately. Yes, it did depict the stuck energy I was feeling, but it also showed me a different way to come about my issue… and the possibilities beyond it. It didn’t feel insurmountable anymore. I realized I could simply walk around it.’ ~ N
 
So, what is an Energy Portrait?
