Happy Oxpicious Year ahead everyone.
2020 was a trying year for most of us. I had mixed feelings when it ended. Happy that a troubled year was done but sad to see a fantastic year finishing.
I was going crazy in April 2020(most of you knew how stressed I was๐Ÿ˜‚). By June I was ready to face the year, whatever it had store for me. By October I was sort of enjoying the thrill n the lessons the year was giving through Covid'19.
Covid'19 taught us that our wants over exceeds our needs. We don't need much to live a good healthy happy ( at least I realise it again in 2020). It pays handsomely to live as a team; I watch your back n you watch mine; we listen to our team leaders/ coaches (government n wise ones) n lead a successful life.
When our government was slow to act upon this universal enemy, I was clearly upset. But they tried to pull themselves to ground n realise they have to act like leaders n do something, fumbled, messed n eventually used some grey matter n got some proper ground rules with iron fist. Singapore (well, most people in this nation) followed the rules either happily or out of fear of repercussions) responded well. We are almost on the side of victory. We need to get vaccinated n protect ourselves n our loved ones. Vaccination is our current aid for us to be mobile. If we need to race this Ox year, then we need to roll up our sleeve n get that jab.
Lets show our little island is of resilience. We are a Sovereign as a nation, not as individuals. If all those who talk about their rights not to wear mask n contract Covid-19, respect the rights of those who want to protect themselves n migrate to Mars! Sorry I can't find any other advice for these disillusioned.
Anyway, lets bull forward n reach a covid free status soon.
Wishing everyone a fantastic, healthy, prosperous, peaceful n oxsome year ahead. Thank you for all your support n love. Yours, Thila

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a common condition that causes pain, numbness and tingling in the hand and arm.

It occurs when the tunnel is narrowed, compressing the median nerve as it travels through the wrist and hand.

It is commonly caused by repetitive hand use, hand and wrist positions, pregnancy and other health conditions.

Treatment usually involves splinting, NSAIDs, activity modifications, nerve gliding exercises and injections. Surgery may be required if conservative management is ineffective.

The ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) is one of the main bands that holds the bones of the knee together. Injury or even tear to the ACL usually occurs during sudden or sharp pivoting movements.

Symptoms that could point towards a torn ACL include a โ€œpoppingโ€ sound and a feeling of โ€œgiving wayโ€; Pain and swelling typically follow almost immediately.

The aim of physiotherapy after an ACL tear is to regain mobility, strength and balance of the knee through a personalised exercise programme.
