Our services broadly fall under these three areas - Senior Wellness & Social Support, Welfare Support, and Education & Awareness.

The Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) was established with the mission to improve the quality of life of seniors through dependable direct services, and to inculcate a generation of responsible and knowledgeable caregivers in an ageing population. The Caregiving Welfare Association is a non-profit Voluntary Welfare Organisation registered with the Registry of Societies, an Institute of Public Character by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and a member of the National Council of Social Service.

🎨 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁?

Last week, our seniors brought their sketchbooks along the Rail Corridor towards Star Vista, sketching the city skyline and enjoying a morning of fresh air and laughter. 🏙️✏️

They were joined by students from Eunoia Junior College, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School, Raffles Institution, and Temasek Polytechnic, making it an even more lively outing. ❤️

Turns out, all you really need is a sketchbook and good company.

While fasting through the day, many continue accompanying ageing parents to medical appointments, managing medications, and providing round-the-clock care at home.

Through Caregiving Welfare Association’s caregiver support programmes, caregivers find encouragement, understanding, and a community where they can pause, be heard, and regain strength for the journey ahead. ❤️

That is how often this caregiver accompanies her mum for dialysis after a kidney failure diagnosis.

But what many people do not see is the reality behind caregiving. Late nights. Physical strain. Emotional stress. The quiet burnout caregivers carry while continuing to show up every day.

Yet she continues, because she knows her mum feels safer when she is there. ❤️
