Let's talk about the fascia. This is the continuous, silvery internal wrap that holds your entire body together, acting like a pressurized bodysuit that keeps every muscle, bone, and organ in its proper place.

On your face, the fascia acts as the invisible scaffold that sits between your skin and your facial muscles, determining how firm, lifted, or 'stuck' your features look. It is specifically organized into a layer known as the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System), which functions like a seamless, elastic glove.
