Goong ob woonsen may sound like the gibberish that comes out from someone’s toddler whose cuteness is below average at best and you are forced to scroll through 5 ig stories of it completing basic tasks a dog would do better + cuter, but it is actually a beautiful Thai dish of glass noodles simmered in gingerly soy sauce and prawn juices. The version here was a little toned down, probably because the prawn heads and shells were removed for the diner’s convenience. However, the steamed fish in lime juice was addictively spicy and tart. Superb for a cool, rainy day like this.
