Introducing Dr Jackson, our new Hand and Wrist Surgeon.
Dr Jackson is an experienced Hand and Wrist Surgeon with nearly 20 years of clinical practice. He began his medical career in Singapore and completed specialist training in hand surgery locally in 2016. In 2018, he further advanced his training at the renowned Wrightington Hospital in the United Kingdom under the Health Manpower Development Programme, a leading centre for upper limb and hand surgery.
Upon returning to Singapore, Dr Jackson served as Director of the Hand, Wrist and Reconstructive Microsurgery Service at Sengkang General Hospital, where he helped develop and lead services for complex hand and wrist conditions, trauma, and microsurgical reconstruction.
Dr Jackson has cared for a wide range of patients, including high demand athletes with acute and chronic hand or wrist injuries. His clinical interests include hand trauma, wrist injuries, sports related conditions, and reconstructive microsurgery. He works closely with Occupational Hand Therapists to support rehabilitation, conditioning, and injury prevention for coordinated care.
He believes in a personalised, patient centred approach, guided by clear communication, teamwork, and evidence based treatment.
Outside of work, Dr Jackson enjoys motorcycle touring and has travelled extensively across the UK, Wales, the Isle of Man, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Dr Jackson is fluent in both English and Mandarin and will be practising at Bone Island Children’s Clinic @ Novena.
