Dear Residents,

The bus shelter outside Oasis LRT Station (near Oasis Terraces) was damaged in an incident earlier today. Thankfully, no one was injured.

For safety reasons, LTA has cordoned off the affected shelter while inspections and repairs are carried out. Please use the temporary bus shelter and do not enter or use the damaged one.

We would also like to remind all motorists that bus shelters are strictly for buses only. Vehicles stopping or driving into these areas pose serious safety risks to commuters.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe. My appreciation too to the LTA for your swift actions.

Let's keep our corridors free from obstruction. Help to maintain a clear passage of at least 1.2 meters, measured from the wall to any allowed items such as shoe racks. This will help to ensure a smooth evacuation process during emergency, and ease of use for wheelchair users.
