Did you ever wonder where candy canes originated?

Apparently in 1670, folklore has it that a choirmaster at the Cologne Cathedral handed out sugar sticks in a bid to keep his young singers quiet during a ceremony. In honor of the occasion, he bent the candies into shepards’ staffs.

If you were a shepard, you would use a staff to manage and catch the errant sheep (with the staff’s hooked end).

At times, you would also use the staff to balance yourself on rough terrain. Just like our modern day walking sticks (or canes).

🚗 Will Our Wheelchairs Fit in a Sedan’s Boot?

We borrowed a car boot to see how well even our large-wheeled wheelchairs would fit into a Sedan’s boot.

In this post, we’re reviewing 2 wheelchairs:

1️⃣ Bobby Evo Travel Wheelchair

This is our travel wheelchair- designed to be small, and compact. In theory, it should pass with flying colours since it was designed for this!

2️⃣ Lightweight Wheelchair (FS863-207-20)

This is one of the larger-wheeled wheelchairs that we have. It has 20-inch wheels that are non-detachable. This will put its folding functions to the test - to see if even a larger wheelchair can squeeze into a boot.

💡 TLDR: Both wheelchairs fit comfortably into the boot of the Nissan Selphy we tested. 🎉
