With measles cases on the rise, Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报 reports that preschools and healthcare providers in Singapore are stepping up precautions, especially to protect infants under 12 months who are not yet eligible for the MMR vaccine.

Dr Vivian Chu, family physician at HMI Medical Centre, shares that measles is highly contagious but preventable. Keeping vaccinations up to date, watching for early symptoms, keeping unwell children at home, and practising good hygiene are simple steps families can take to reduce risk.

🎉 Welcoming Advanced Urology Associates (AUA) to their newly opened clinic on Level 9 at HMI Medical Centre, Farrer Park. This marks AUA’s seventh clinic in Singapore.

We also mark the opening with Dr Chong Weiliang, specialist urologist at AUA, who provides care in areas including men’s health, reproductive medicine, and endourological management of kidney stone conditions.
