Half-Day Retreat: Meditations for a Clear Mind
Sun, 15th Mar | 9am – 1pm
with Buddhist Teacher, Kandhi

Give yourself the gift of a Sunday morning to rediscover the inner peace and clarity that lies within. This half-day retreat offers a precious opportunity to pause, breathe, and dive beneath the surface of your distracting thoughts. Through guided meditation, you will learn to access a level of mental clarity that remains calm and undisturbed, no matter what is happening in your external life.

What to Expect:
Guided Meditations: Step-by-step sessions designed to still the mind and connect with inner peace
Profound Insights: Clear explanations on the conventional nature of the mind and how to sustain clarity in daily life
Tranquil Environment: A supportive space for quiet contemplation and meaningful Q&A
This retreat is perfect for those new to Kadampa meditation as well as experienced practitioners looking to deepen their stillness. Please note that spaces are limited to 26 participants, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

Free Lunchtime Meditation: Simply Meditate
Tuesdays & Fridays | 12.30 – 1pm

Why not take 30 minutes out of your busy day to relax and unwind from all of the morning's activities with a gentle guided meditation, allowing you to return to the afternoon with mental calm and clarity?

This class is designed to specifically emphasise practical meditation, giving you a good amount of time to train your mind. Classes will begin with 5–10 minutes of advice on the specific meditation being practiced in that session, followed by a 20–25 minute guided meditation. The actual meditation we train in will differ each week, following a cycle of 9 meditations as shown below.

THIS CLASS IS FREE OF CHARGE, however please consider making a donation upon arrival to support our activities in Singapore.

The law of karma is a special instance of the law of cause and effect, and a fundamental Buddhist principle. According to the law of karma all our actions of body, speech and mind are causes and all our experiences are their effects. The law of karma explains why each individual has a unique mental disposition, a unique physical appearance and unique experiences. These are the various effects of the countless actions that each individual has performed in the past.

During this series of classes, Gen Kelsang Rabka will help us to gain an understanding of the law of karma with which we can protect ourself from future misfortune and create a pathway toward future happiness and success.

Week 1: A general introduction to karma
Week 2: More detail about how karma works
Week 3: What to do about existing karma
