DABCO Charging Isolator in collaboration with Pharmedley Pte Ltd

Client's need:
Our client required an isolator to contain a substance called DABCO (1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane) to protect the user from potential hazards when discharging material into the reactor.

BSP's solution:
BSP designed the isolator to be air-tight with N2 blanketing to prevent potential leakage of DABCO into the work environment. The isolator is also equipped with a material airlock for ease of transferring material without compromising the airtightness. The instrument’s package includes DPIs to monitor push-push filters’ status and also an O2 sensor for monitoring oxygen levels in both the main chamber and material airlock.

Users are able to perform tasks such as transferring and handling material through the glove ports, with good visibility through a heat-tempered glass panel with high lux LED lighting provided.

The design and fabrication fulfilled GMP Standards as it will be used in a major pharmaceutical plant.
