I was enjoying my meal when this uncle started to preach to me about Christianity. He claims to be a pastor.
Knowing the conversation will just be a waste of my time, I wanted to cut it short until I got fired up when he started criticizing Buddhism.
Using my mindfulness, I kept my cool while he got agitated even more as I questioned many of the points he raised.
I actually told him to read up more about other faiths before criticizing.
Without wanting to waste more of my time, I told him this before leaving for my next appointment: "For those who believe, no evidence is required. And for those who don't believe, no amount of evidence is adequate."
