Thinking of under-eye filler? Read this first 👁✨
The tear trough area is beautiful when treated well… but it’s also one of the trickiest zones because the skin is thin, the anatomy is complex, and small changes show up FAST.
That’s why a soft, suitable filler is often preferred. Softer fillers tend to sit more naturally in this area and blend better, helping to avoid that heavy or “puffy” look.
Treatment is usually done with a plan. Starting with the medial (inner) tear trough, then moving to the lateral (outer) part helps create a smoother, more balanced result. A cannula may be considered to minimise unnecessary trauma to surrounding tissues and product is typically placed in micro-droplets 💧 for better control and even distribution.
And the golden rule? Less is more ✨
Especially for patients with thinner skin around the eyelids, starting conservatively (e.g. 0.25ml per side) may be considered, with adjustments based on assessment and response.
