At NDCS, education is at the heart of what our clinician-educators do – from nurturing future talent to recognising excellence in teaching and learning across the profession.

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our educators:

🏆 Duke-NUS Excellence in Education Award – Clinical A/Prof Marianne Ong

In the spirit of inspiring the next generation, NDCS hosted students from Dunman High School, Temasek Junior College, and Victoria School for our one-day Integrated Programme Schools (IPS) Observership Programme on 12 January 2026.

This immersive experience offered students a firsthand look into dental healthcare environments and career pathways in dentistry. Highlights of the day included facility tours, an insightful Overview of Dentistry presentation by Dr Chelsia Sim, Director of Education and Senior Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as observation opportunities with our Dental Officers.

The start of the new year marks a significant milestone in the SingHealth One Dentistry journey to transform dental services across SingHealth.

To extend a warm welcome to our new colleagues from the SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) dental team—dental surgeons, oral health therapists, dental assistants, and colleagues in operations and corporate functions.

NDCS’ leadership team led by our CEO, CI A/Prof Goh Bee Tin visited the five SHP dental polyclinics at Eunos, Bedok, Tampines, Pasir Ris and Punggol to distribute welcome packs.

We look forward to working with our SHP colleagues to shape the future of oral health together!
