We all have 168 hours in a week.
Most people think dialysis takes 12 hours — and that’s all there is to a patient’s life.

But our patients don’t see it that way.
Because beyond those 12 hours, there are still 100 hours of life. Purpose. Possibility.
Kidney disease may change the journey, but it doesn’t stop life from moving forward.

With the right care and support, those 100 hours can still be filled with meaning. In their own ways, this is how our patients keep moving forward.

💬 Tell us — how would you spend your 100 hours?

🚨 Your kidneys could be failing — and you'd never know.

Most people wait for pain or symptoms before getting checked. But here's the truth: your kidneys can lose up to 90% of their function before you feel a thing.

The facts might surprise you. Early detection saves lives. 💙

📍 Knowledge is the first step to prevention. Share this with someone who needs to see it.

One late night won’t ruin your health.
But chronic sleep deprivation can.

Poor sleep quality has been linked to a higher risk of serious health conditions, including chronic kidney disease. When your body doesn’t get consistent rest, it disrupts essential processes that support your overall well-being.

Gaming can wait.
Your health can’t.
Choose rest. Choose balance. Choose long-term health.

Behind every patient is a team that shows up in more ways than one.

In this reel, we’re shining the spotlight on our social workers who help carry the unseen load — supporting patients through emotional and financial challenges — so they can face each day with a little less weight on their shoulders. 💙

Dialysis sessions can last up to 4 hours. That's a long time to sit with your thoughts. 💭

At KDF, we try to make that time a little easier by providing our patients with free access to Hublet tablets — to browse health resources, explore what's happening in the neighbourhood, or simply enjoy a show during their session. A small way to stay connected to the community. 💙

A big thank you to our Singapore Management University student volunteers who made this video during their visit to our dialysis centre!

Behind every patient who walks through our doors is a network of dedicated hands that helped guide them here.

On Thursday, we had the honour of hosting social workers and renal coordinators from our partner hospitals, alongside our own team, for an appreciation high tea at Temasek Shophouse.

In a special segment, one of our patients took to the stage to share a message of thanks — and in his words of thanks, we heard the quiet but profound impact of everything you do. Because of you, we're able to reach those who need it most, and we thank you for your advocacy and compassion. 💙

As part of conversations on how to build a stronger community of support, we also shared updates on our physiotherapy FIRM programme, where patients are seeing encouraging improvements in strength and quality of life.

Grateful for this journey we walk together, and for the stronger partnerships we continue to build!

Grateful to our Singapore Management University student volunteers for showing up with heart and dedication throughout their time with us. 💙

From content creation to being on the ground for our World Kidney Day event and guiding dialysis patients on using the Hublet tablet to access health resources, they've left a positive mark on patients and our team.

We wish them all the best as they wrap up their volunteering journey with us! ✨

Caring for your kidneys doesn’t require a complete lifestyle overhaul. It starts with simple, everyday decisions — choosing water over sugary drinks, going lighter on salt, reaching for healthier snacks, moving your body, and getting enough rest.

These moments may feel small, almost insignificant. But over time, they add up. And your kidneys feel the difference.

This year, let’s focus on consistency over perfection.
One better choice at a time. One small win at a time.

Because prevention begins with the habits we practice daily.
