Hi HS Family,
As an institution dedicated to training future superheroes-without-capes, we never would never not respond to opportunities to do greater good. Desmond Loo, our nursing lecturer, have been active in giving talks on workers in various organisations to help them understand and practice better mental health in their workplace. In the above pictures, Des was speaking at the URS Forum to help working professionals spot and react healthily to threats from work-place related stress.

At HS, our strengths come from our strong ties with the practicing professionals to enable us to provide a strong theoretical education strongly linked to the practicing medical scene.

At HS, we do not train future superheroes-without-capes, we want to ensure that we also help them develop into critical thinking professionals. As we learning guides moved into the twilight of our careers, we can leave with the assurance that we have done things right. What better feedback than the ever growing cohort of our GREEN NATION in programmes such as NUS and beyond? Each year, more of our alumni were selected than other institutions. Thank you alumni for making us proud.

The most amazing thing about being a learning guide at the School of Health Sciences is that we sometimes have our path illuminated by amazing students that we are supposed to guide. Shantini Subramaniam is the latest of a long line of examples in our 2 decades of existence. No other professions have the impact ours have. Yet, we are constantly humbled and enriched by the ones we are supposed to guide. Thank you Shantini😁, for being who you are and for being part of us. Congratulations!
