Luo Han Guo is sweet and cooling in nature, a good remedy once you start feeling that sore throat.
Preparation Steps:
1. Briefly scrub the fruit under running tap water.
2. Crack open the fruit and cut into two.
3. Place fruit pieces (including the shell) in a pot, add water.
4. Bring water to boil on high heat. When water boils, simmer for 30 minutes. Pour out the tea and serve warm.
5. Soak boiled fruit in hot water repeatedly for 4-5 times. Sip as tea throughout the day.
