Did you know that we see many dizzy patients at ENTcare Clinic? Although most of these patients suffer from anxiety, this is often NOT the primary cause of their dizziness! The most common dizzy condition is actually Benign Positional Vertigo (BPPV) due to loose crystals in the inner ear. So we always screen for BPPV in clinic, shown in the photos below. The key to helping dizzy patients get better is to make the right diagnosis early!

Guess what this is? I fished this out of a little 3 year old boy’s nose recently: A long metallic twisty tie covered in infected pus! His poor parents had been wondering why there was this funny smell coming from him. Always be careful about where your little one plays, as toddlers tend to pick things up and insert them into all sorts of places, including their nose and ears!
