🪷In the mid-20th century, Iyengar developed the use of ropes attached on walls to help students achieve proper alignment, stability, and deeper stretches—especially those who were injured, stiff, or new to yoga.

🪷Benefits of using ropes:
• To support the body in difficult poses
• To improve alignment and posture
• To allow people of different abilities to practice safely
• To help practitioners stay longer in poses with less strain

🪷Join us in this 2 day workshop to learn how to use ropes, adjust its length and their different usage.
🪷WhatsApp +65 91951783 to register. Limited rope space!

When we find a pose or movement that’s difficult, rather than getting fixated on ‘getting it’, try doing different poses or movements. One day, when you come back to it, you’ll ’suddenly’ find that you’re able to do it😃Why? Because the body is connected❣️And this is what Yoga is. Connecting the whole body and mind🙏🏻

Grounding - when we talk about grounding, we think about how the tree’s roots grow downwards to the soil, and from there, the trunk, branches and leaves grow upwards. The better the tree can root itself, the stronger the tree is🌳In yoga, 🧘🏻‍♀️, if we can ground ourselves down, the energy can then flow up and be distributed to the other parts of the body, energizing the whole body.⚡️

Since its origin, Yoga is not just a workout . It is also a tool that can access your physical and emotional state so that your can change your behavioural patterns to become a more better human being 💖This is very obvious in inverted asanas where the biggest obstacle to some is fear, not physical abilities. ☁️Start by doing supported inversions. You’ll get there💪

Padangusthasana 1 and 2 requires one to stand on 1 leg while the lifted leg opens from the front to the side. It’s a pose that requires attention in almost all parts of the body from the legs, hips, shoulders, spine and even arms. This is the beauty of the pose 🌹Mentally, it requires focus to keep balancing in padangusthasana. 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️
