Sharing a new product that will be available soon from a promotional price of $14.25 and ready to accept orders from our online shop on 1st of April. Sorry I was unable to launch it sooner than February otherwise it would be a nice place to bring your date for Valentine's day. Candle light shower with free flow of alcohol.

It is the world first Ultra Smart Hand Spray and it is available in both Wifi for smart homes and Bluetooth for public toilets or where Wifi is unavailable.

It doesn't need electrical and water as it utilises Quantum G connection which is 1 billion times faster than 6G. Water and electricity flux particles flows through the air into the spray.

My personal favorite is it's premium function, with a monthly subscription of $100 to supercharge your Quantum G, you could enjoy free flow from our selection of wines, beer and liquors. Our beverage partners are also concocting new non alcoholic drinks. Now everyone could spend more time in the toilet while using their phone gets to enjoy their drinks. For now I stick to bandung.

We thank you for reading up to here and I truly regret that there will not be any stupid promo code. Because it is an Ultra Smart handpray hence it deserve 3 promo codes.

Promo code "I am smart" for your first purchase to enjoy 50% off on your second purchase.

On your second purchase promo on top of promo you get to enjoy free installation on all purchases with promo code "I am Smartest"

On your third purchase you get to enjoy free premium subscription for 30 days. Keep the beer flowing!

That's not all, if you refer someone after three purchases you get a four hand spray for free + free installation.

And why would you need a third or a forth handspray?
Because it is Ultra Smart, keep one in your pocket or bring it everywhere with you and you get to enjoy free flow of alcohol and drinks.

And I will not claim it to be while stock last which is stupid marketing. Stock last until everyone owns a few Ultra Smart Hand spray.

Hello again, second post in a day 😁.

Was here to install a water heater for a friend of almost 30 years. I don't do heater work anymore as I find it "unprofitable" to do it myself, I sub them out to my LP which they have the manpower from small to very high capacity ones. Sometime relatives and friends will get me to install for them and I will over-do it.

I will add in pressure regulator, 4cm2 earth bonding rather than 2.5cm2 minimum and I will crimp all the wires, more work and more cost, thus more time = "unprofitable"πŸ˜….

This new heater was faulty as no electrical power flowing into the element. So I had to arrange for the technician to come over to troubleshoot it.

The first thing he saw is the pressure regulator which surprises him and I ask is there something wrong? "No it is that nobody install that"

Well, your installation manual recommends it. I already decided to install one before even reading the manual.

"The pressure regulator protects the tank from excessive or fluctuating pressure so the heater doesn't leak so soon, is that made in Italy?"

Yes, and it cost about $40 and nobody will pay for it and it also doesn't look "streamline neat work".

"It looks neat to me 😁"

Still doesn't justify the extra cost and labour, consumer won't pay more and the pressure regulator is not maintenance free and it will get clog up by scale and sand thus reducing the flow.

"The pressure is within recommendation" (the technician took out a pressure gauge to take a reading which says 4 bar)

In Singapore it is not mandatory to have one as the water pressure is closely control/regulate by PUB for water conservation reason.

Hello everyone and thank you for reading my post.

Here to replace Kohler undermount basin model Ladena. I had replaced it three times before all of them from underneath; swing door cabinet. This is the first time replacing by removing the counter top due to the drawers and narrow space underneath.

Work duration: 2.5 hours.

Sharing a trending issue regarding rimless WC.

Vortex flushing is developed and it is patented by American Standard after spending huge amount into R&D. It is so popular that it set this trend for countless other manufacturers into making their own and call it rimless as "Vortex" is Trademarked.

Instead of relying on potential energy of the conventional and widely used flush-down toilets. β€œRimless-vortex” relies on both the potential and much more kinetic energy for flushing. This extra kinetic energy from the swirling of water is supposed to be a more efficient way of flushing as it uses less water.

However the problem from making copies without understanding the science causes the splashing of water onto the seat and floor.

This newly installed WC have splashes 100% of the time from 4.5L of water.
50% of the time with some droplets from 3L of water and 10% of the time with some droplets from 2L of water. After giving feedback to the distributors and as expected "you have to lower the amount of water for flushing". This adjustment isn't an issue if the installers/plumbers/IDs know how and not always that concealed cistern is straightforward in making those adjustment.

1 case had to replace the existing pump to slow discharge pump because adjusting the water amount didn't work. My seller wanted to know how I solved it so they can feedback to the distributor; "I said they have to pay me to find out".

And a friend of mine working for a large showroom/shop the company that supplies to condominium developments has to reject thousands of toilet bowls.

If you are considering a rimless toilet you are likely to receive little help with splashes.

Good day everyone.
Thank you for reading.

Sharing a new product by R&T, a China brand.

This design is not new and at a glance look similar to Geberit's Monolith which was introduced over 10 years ago.

The mechanism of R&T has improved over the years and in my opinion for this new product is better than Monolith's and at half the price.

For people that want something to stand out in their bathroom. Of cost there are some limitations such as narrow space, exposed piping running across the wall in the path of the WC and distance of outlet pipe to wall no more than 150mm.

Hello everyone πŸ˜„

This unit is under renovation and their plumber was unable to install the new WC hung WC.

The existing bolt is Imperial Measurement 5/8" and have to reduce it to Matrix Measurement M12 to mount the new WC.

The owner couldn't find anyone to do it and yet had no idea how difficult to get it done and disrespectfully ridiculed me for quoting him so much ($400). He had no choice but to come back to me as the alternative is to hack and replace concealed cistern, mounting frame, vanity and tiles.

This job unexpectedly took me 6 hours which on hindsight I had charged too low πŸ˜… barely making any profit (after operating and materials cost which left me $120)

And 6 hours was with using powered tools like cut-off tool, reciprocating saw, multi-tool and angle grinder which I already have and they cost around $1500 brand new. So $400 is pretty good deal.

And the most satisfying from this job is there are no die cutters in existence to convert Imperial to Matrix as least that what the boss of the largest hardware shop in SG said and only a machine shop can do that. He was against my idea to grind the bolt down to size and die it as I might break my die cutter or the cut might not be straight. Challenge accepted!

I hope this post can help those that might encountered this in the future.

Thanks again.

Trying out this new tool with frustration. Some more I bought a pair.

It's a good must have tool as it can replace many tools and I have to spend some time to modify it otherwise they will just be scrap metal.

Watched a short of another plumber using such a tool, fast and precise work. A tool to replace many tools. Unfortunately this tool is poorly made without "ca...

Took time away to attend Hansgrohe Plumbers Workshop.

The cost of some of the latest product were in the $4k to $6k range. A lot plastic parts inside which requires tremendous amount of care to install or disassemble for repair without leaving visible scratches or accidental damage.

This is Hansgrohe's first time conducting a training workshop as they badly needed a pool of dedicated people to help with their expanding line of products.

Hello wonderful people and much thanks for your time.

Received an unusual request to do post renovation "detailing". ID turned it down and the cleaners also turned it down claimed that it's risky.

I didn't know there is a market for this, I probably can quit plumbing and switch to post reno detailing charging by the hour.

Something that I don't do, except for bathroom which is something I'm more familiar.

Almost 4 hours of work (to drive there, preparation work, actual work and cleaning up) for supposedly $400. Singapore is not ready to pay someone $1k each each day to turn their home to "museum level" finish.

The owner asked me to do detailing on their tile grout, wood and paint work πŸ˜… which I turned it down. I said to her Singapore is not ready to pay someone on such a scale. Example it's going to cost a lot more to engage a plumber to do handyman work or a lawyer to do a legal writer's job.

Hello and good afternoon πŸ˜€.

Over the years I received feedback that people wouldn't mind to DIY their own plumbing.

I already have a Youtube channel and haven't been active putting up content.
Most Youtubers if asked shared that for every 1 minute of content took about an average of 1 hour of work.
Whether it's research, editing, scripting, voice over etc.
It is true, the scripting and voice over took me over 60 takes, averaging 1.5 hours of work each minute of context.

Most of the time I'm rushing to get the job done and move on to the next appointment.

Either I take on less work each day to video a job or I set a side time to stage for content. I shall see....

My plan was to have 20 videos before sharing, no harm sharing early.

If it gain traction it might motivate me to do better.
