Hello everyone.
It is increasingly difficult to find new and relevant stuffs to share.
Experts believe skilled trades like plumber, electrician and aircon technician will never be replaced by AI. Those experts are full of BS, with the rise of AI and AI Agent these trades will not be replaced but passed over.
For those that doesn't know what AI Agent is, it is like Jarvis in Ironman. If no idea what is Ironman, then it is like "mother" in the Alien franchise. If clueless to both, it is your like your digital personal assistant. The more access you give to the AI Agent the more powerful it gets. For example, telling Jarvis to get your favourite drink, Javrvis will automatically order, check it out, does the payment and arrange for deliver without you touching the phone.
Without active social media presence in all popular platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok, AI Agent won't know we exist and will not list us as a recommendation. With improvement AI Agent would be able to filter out sponsored advertisement and bots, so throwing money into marketing is unlikely to increase reach.
What's worse than being replaced? Being passed over.
Knowing a profession is being replaced one could choose not to enter the line or reskill to do something else. Whereas according to the experts that skilled trade won't be replaced by AI and wonders why business is not doing well. By the time of realisation it is too late, as competitions already have many years of content as head start; more information for AI Agent to utilise.
I'm really grateful and thankful to those helping me over the years by word of mouth and in forums like Hardware Zone, SG Moms Group (I don't remember the exact name) and SG Expat group etc. These forums would make AI Agent search possible. These people unknowingly anticipated AI Agent by 10 years. Hope this would be a head start for me.
