Welcome back to Move with Dr. Jesse 🏃‍♂️✨

This week we’re starting Part 1 of lower body strengthening with the single leg split squat / lunge — a powerful exercise to build strength in your glutes and quads 🦵🔥

If you want stronger legs, better balance, and more support for your hips and lower back, this is a great place to start 💪🦴

🔥 Try this:
1️⃣ Step into a split stance
2️⃣ Lower slowly while keeping your chest tall
3️⃣ Push through your front leg to come back up

⏱ Aim for 8–12 reps each side
🔁 Repeat for 2–3 sets

This exercise helps build single-leg strength, improve stability, and support better movement in everyday life 🙌✨

If you spend long hours at a desk, on your phone, or feel that tight “knot” at the top of your shoulder 😖💻, these 2 simple release variations can help relieve tension and improve mobility 🌿

🔥 Try these 2 releases:
1️⃣ Lying Levator Scap Release – gentle positioning to allow the muscle to relax and lengthen
2️⃣ Ball Release Variation – use a massage ball to apply pressure and release tight trigger points 🎾

⏱ Hold each position for about 30 seconds
🔁 Repeat a few times a day for best results

These simple releases can help reduce neck tension, improve posture, and make daily movement feel easier 🙌✨

🐻 Bear Crawl Table Top Hold — hold for 30 seconds
(Knees hovering, spine neutral, core engaged)

Once that feels solid, level up ⬆️
✨ Add shoulder taps (slow + controlled)
✨ Progress to shoulder taps with leg extensions
⏱ Hold for 30 seconds or
🔁 10 reps each side

Try this a couple times a day to build endurance, coordination, and better spinal support 💪🌿
