Delighted to be part of a lively panel with Dr Patricia Kho from Icon Cancer Centre and Dr Sidharth Kachroo, Chief Health Officer of Prudential at “Beyond the Diagnosis: A Clearer, More Confident Look at Critical Illness Today.”

Set in the beautiful Flower Dome and moderated by Miss Charmaine Yee, it was a meaningful dialogue on the importance of early screening for cancer and health disease and taking a proactive approach to maximizing wellness. At the same time, we must be cognizant that even low risk does not mean zero-risk. There is a significant protection gap in Singapore and we should consider bridging this gap with the appropriate financial policies. Many thanks to Prudential for organizing a wonderful evening.

How Can Heart Disease Be Treated? ❤️

Heart disease treatment isn’t one-size-fits-all—it depends on the type and severity, but the good news is that it can be managed effectively.

🩺 Lifestyle changes: Eating a heart-healthy diet, staying active, quitting smoking, and managing stress are powerful first steps.
💊 Medications: Doctors may prescribe medicines to control blood pressure, cholesterol, heart rhythm, or prevent clots.
🏥 Medical procedures: In some cases, treatments like angioplasty, stents, or surgery may be needed.
🤝 Ongoing care: Regular check-ups and following your care plan help keep your heart strong.

✨ Early detection and consistent care can save lives. Take charge of your heart health today!
