45 days apart.
Different countries. Different purpose. Same mindset.

Singapore 🇸🇬 → Spain 🇪🇸
From preparing for the Camino…
to moving again after it.

The distances are shorter now.
The pace is steadier.
But the reason is stronger.

Because this was never just about one walk.
It’s about building a life where movement is non-negotiable.

And right now, that means running here in Spain…
while spending time where it matters most ❤️

HealthSpan isn’t a finish line. It’s what comes next.

Still time to support the cause:

A week after walking into Santiago… and the legs are still learning a new rhythm.

Swapped boots for pedals today 🚴‍♂️
A steady ride through the hills around Salem with a good friend, just waking the body back up.

No big miles. No finish line.
Just movement, fresh air, and that quiet reminder, this is a way of life now.

The Camino may be done…
but the HealthSpan journey continues.

Still time to support the cause:

The Camino may be over… but the journey isn’t.

After 30 days walking across Spain, the next step wasn’t more miles.

It was going home.
Spending time with my mum.
And returning to what really matters.

This walk was never just about distance.
It was about health, purpose, and perspective.

And now, one last ask.

If you’ve followed the journey, supported along the way, or taken something from it…

This is your last chance to donate.

Every contribution goes towards supporting people who need it most.

And this isn’t the end.

I’ll continue sharing HealthSpan stories, insights, and real-world lessons from the journey.

Part 3: Family First

The plan was to keep walking.

But plans change.

Being in Spain gave me the chance to spend time with my mum, something that matters more than any extra miles.

The Camino teaches you a lot.

One of the biggest lessons?
Know what truly matters… and choose it.

Family comes first.

Part 2: The Why

People ask why I did this walk.

The answer isn’t just one thing.

It’s about health, pushing limits, and seeing what’s possible as we get older.

But it’s also about something bigger than me.

Raising awareness and support for people who need it, that’s what gives this journey real meaning.

This is the “why” behind every step.

Part 1: The Journey

Walking across Spain for 30 days sounds simple.

It’s not.

Some days are incredible. Some are tough. Most are just putting one foot in front of the other.

You learn quickly that it’s less about the destination… and more about showing up each day and continuing.

This was the journey.

Day 30. The final walk… Santiago.

This is it.

After all the early mornings, long days, wrong turns, great days, tough days… it all comes down to today.

21km between here and Santiago.

It’s strange, part of me wants to get there, part of me wants to slow it all down.

Because once you walk into that square… this chapter is done.

Let’s take it in, step by step.

Day 29 on the Camino.

A proper long one… and you feel every bit of it.

Nearly 50km, one of those days where it becomes more about mindset than legs.

Had some unexpected company along the way even shared lunch with a cat 🐱

And suddenly… more people.

After days of mostly solo walking, the Camino starts to feel busy again. More voices, more “Buen Camino,” more energy on the trail.

Also crossed paths (again) with someone I hadn’t seen since early on, funny how these journeys reconnect you.

And through it all… that thought sitting in the background:

Santiago is next.

The end is close now.

Day 29. DozĂłn to Ponte Ulla.

Today’s plan… go big.

“Whatever I do today, I don’t have to do tomorrow.”

So that means pushing it, nearly 50km and seeing what’s left in the tank.

I’m feeling strong… but the body’s starting to have its say now.

And the reason?

Tomorrow… Santiago.

One more big effort. Let’s go.

People watching on Albert St.

There is a crossroads on Albert St between Queen St and Bencoolen St.

Here you can sit and watch the stalls and many people walk by.

This guy was sat there watching all. His clothes were like a trendy throwback.

His expression felt as though he had seen it all before and was going through an old routine.

Early to sleep early to rise...

Maybe...

For this guy the night was a little bit too much for him so time for a nap.

His bike was parked nicely nearby, his shoes were there neat and his can of beer was in reach.

Not convinced the bed was too comfy though. Beer springs?
