Silence, Integration and Closing
Traditional Egyptian healing followed a simple and precise sequence.
It began with heart coherence. The practitioner first attuned to where Ma’at had been disturbed. A governing principle was then recognised and activated through sound. With that, all outer action ceased.
Silence completed the process.
Silence embodied Nun - the primordial field from which order emerges. In this space, the nervous system, subtle bodies, and awareness could reorganise without interference.
From this perspective, healing did not focus on “fixing” the body. Instead, it restored truth, balance, and right relationship - so that the body and soul could heal themselves.
What is shared here is a reflection, not a set of instructions. Its purpose is to invite remembrance rather than belief.
What is restored through alignment needs no control. What is returned to balance stabilises over time.
Contemplation:
What restores itself does not need to be forced.
This concludes the reflections on “Healing in Ancient Egyptian Spiritual Practices”.
The sharing now rests.
A new subject will follow shortly, continuing the exploration of other ancient Egyptian spiritual practices. For those who wish to read the complete text behind these reflections, it is available at www.januson.com.sg
