👀 Blurry vision is not always just eye strain.

Glaucoma can develop silently, often without noticeable symptoms in its early stages. That is why regular eye examinations are important, especially for those aged 40 and above, or individuals with risk factors such as a family history of glaucoma, high myopia, diabetes, previous eye trauma, or long-term steroid use.

⏳ Do not wait for symptoms to appear. Early detection matters.

📩 DM us for more information about Glaucoma Screening or send us a WhatsApp at 6456 1000

A 40something woman was thought to be too young for glaucoma but more people below age 60 are being diagnosed with glaucoma in Singapore. Risk factors include age, genetics and chronic diseases. Regular eye exams are recommended. Read more at straitstimes.com. Read more at straitstimes.com.

Vision is something we often take for granted… until it’s at risk.

When actor Elvin Ng experienced a retinal emergency, timely care made all the difference. With the expertise of Dr Paul Zhao, a vitreoretinal surgeon experienced in treating complex retinal conditions, his vision was preserved.

This story is a reminder that symptoms like sudden flashes, floaters, or shadows in vision should never be ignored. Early evaluation by an eye specialist can be critical in protecting sight.

Your vision matters. If something doesn’t feel right, get it checked.

What is retinal detachment and how is it linked to severe myopia? Experts break down why it happens, the telltale symptoms and why urgent treatment is critical.

After shared his experience with retinal detachment, it’s a timely reminder to be aware of subtle changes in your vision. Here’s what to look out for:
• Flashes of light
• A sudden increase in floaters
• A dark shadow or curtain in part of your sight

It’s usually painless, which is why many people hesitate. But when assessed early, treatment can be arranged promptly and visual outcomes are often very good.

If you notice any of these symptoms, arrange an eye check as soon as you can. Early review allows your doctor to guide you on the right next steps. 👁️
