Completing active cancer treatment is a milestone worth celebrating, but it is not the end of the journey. Survivors often navigate ongoing concerns with their doctors and loved ones – fear of recurrence, late treatment effects, fatigue, sleep issues, return‑to‑work decisions, relationship changes and long‑term follow‑up schedules.

Dr. David Tan and Dr. John Chia take you on the survivorship journey here https://bit.ly/4cotim7

It started during church service when she could no longer sing her hymns the way she used to. A routine health check showed a shadow in her chest, which led to the discovery of a rare tumor that had been silently affecting her breathing and voice.

Enhanced precautionary measures against measles have been introduced today following 12 new cases reported between 1 February and 24 March 2026 — with epidemiological investigations still ongoing.

Our Infectious Diseases Specialist Dr. Loh Jiashen spoke to CNA on the current situation and shares his thoughts on the possibility of a community spread.

Singapore will implement enhanced public health measures for measles despite having no evidence of community spread. The move comes as 12 new cases were reported between February 1st and March 24th. From April, suspect cases must undergo mandatory testing. Those in high-risk settings such as childca...

Tonight at 8.30pm, Singapore and the global community will observe Earth Hour — dimming our non-essential lights as a symbol of our commitment to a more sustainable future.

At Farrer Park Hospital, sustainability is not a corporate social responsibility addendum. It is embedded in our physical infrastructure, our operational philosophy and our institutional identity. Built on biophilic design principles, we have healing gardens, rainwater harvesting facilities and EV charging bays — because sustainability isn't a campaign for us. It's in our DNA.

Kidney disease is one of the most silent and underdiagnosed conditions, with 1 in 10 adults suffering from kidney disease, often without symptoms. Singapore has one of the highest rates of kidney failure in the world, with diabetes and high blood pressure being the leading causes.

Protect your kidney health by staying well-hydrated, managing your blood pressure, and going for regular screenings. A simple blood test and urine test can reveal early signs of kidney disease — often before any symptoms appear. Speak to our specialists today. Find out more at bit.ly/41vc9SC

Episodes can last anywhere from 4 to 72 hours and vary widely in frequency and severity from person to person. Understanding your triggers is one of the most powerful tools in managing them.

Seek emergency care if you experience sudden, severe headaches accompanied by fever, stiff neck or confusion; or symptoms such as weakness, numbness or vision loss.
