Namaste 🙏
My beautiful journey with yoga began in 2017 🧘🏻♀️☀️
One afternoon in 2017, my nine-month-old daughter was in her cradle, and I gently rocked her to sleep. As I watched her relax and fall asleep, I wondered: besides being a mom, where should my life go next? That quiet afternoon, I was scrolling through my phone and saw an article about yoga. I had never practiced yoga and knew almost nothing about it, but something in the words spoke to my heart deeply. In that moment, it felt like a light had shone into my life, showing me a new path, a way to heal my body and mind, regain strength, and grow alongside my child. From that day on, yoga became the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
At that time, I had just gone through the challenge of illness and was welcoming a new life. My body and mind were still adjusting. Those days were not easy; every day I worked hard to find my balance and stand strong. But even in the toughest moments, there was a clear voice in my heart: "If I could have a child after surviving cancer, then I am a miracle. If life has given me a second chance, I must live it meaningfully." I wanted to be healthier and hoped that one day, I could use my experiences to support and encourage others. That's how I began my yoga journey. With no foundation, no skills, and no experience, | bravely started learning, practicing, and taking exams.
I didn't care what others thought, because I knew one thing: this was a choice I would never regret.
I will never forget the first yoga class I ever taught. It was in a small yoga studio. The air was quiet, but my heart was pounding as it it would leap out of my chest. I was timid, nervous, and kept making mistakes. It I remember correctly, there were only two students in the class. And what I'm most grateful for is that they didn't complain to the studio owner afterward! That's how my simple yet happiest yoga journey began, balancing taking care of my kids while teaching part-time. No fancy yoga clothes, no challenging poses and no extraordinary physical strength... yet I had a burning, sincere heart, determined to help each student become better through yoga. Every morning, I rode my bicycle with one child in front and another in the back, looking just like the real-life version of "Crayon Shin-chan's mom." After dropping the kids at school, I would rush home to shower and then head to teach my class until noon. Some days, I was lucky enough to teach at schools, universities, companies, and hospitals. Those years were full of effort, running, sweating, and growth; every class felt like nourishment for my own body and mind.
I continued teaching and practicing yoga until 2020, when I entered a new stage in my career, yet yoga remained at the heart of my life. Yoga has accompanied me through every rise and fall in life, the moments of joy, sadness, and deep emotion. What brings me the greatest joy is witnessing my students' growth and progress: their bodies becoming healthier, their minds calmer, and their spirits stronger. Now, I hope to share this strength and inspiration with every student who is willing to practice yoga with me. May yoga become a natural part of your life, and may everyone feel its power in the small moments of daily life, discovering inner peace and comfort. Today, I am learning to bring yoga into every detail and every moment of life, connecting breath, movement, and awareness with body and mind. Yoga has become a lifelong practice, and I hope it can accompany every student who joins me, bringing them calm and strength.
