We believe the first requisite to happiness is a strong body and mind. A body capable of performing daily chores and allowing us to enjoy activities with ease, and pain-free.
We are firstly founded on the firm philosophies of Joseph Pilates. We are curious, and dedicated to our mission; we constantly explore and study evidence-based methods and sometimes travel to curate complementary movement modalities from inventors, gurus and experts and then return to integrate them in our studio sessions.
We believe โOne Size Fits Oneโ. Our movement sessions are bespoke programs crafted to help you address particular issues or goals. Be it rehabilitation from a ski tumble, getting into a tight aero position for your next Ironman, getting out of your habitual slouch at the office desk...or simply being able to lift your grandchild!
For each session, we assess how you and your body respond and what it can absorb. We then hand-craft a cocktail of pilates and movement modalities which will advance you towards your goals. Your workout will likely be a combination of multiple movement modalities we are trained and certified in, depending on how you, your body is feeling on the day you walk into our studio.
We regularly receive training ourselves, so that we can learn and integrate all the modalities and safely and effectively use all the equipment, devices and tools that we own in our studio as intended by their inventors . We know enough to understand ours and your limitations. At times, it takes a village to get you where you want to be. Sometimes we may recommend you see our panel of expert friends who possess the talent and skills to get you where you want to be. Your sessions are tailored with you in mind. We love seeing people walk out of the studio feeling, looking, and moving better than when they walked in; with a smile, even a grin, on their face. *wink*
