A client went to our panel clinic to do a medical exam and a blood test and the clinic failed to shake his blood sample and it coagulated. He had to go for another blood test the day after. Subsequently GE requested he do another fasting glucose blood test and he went to book it with a nearby clinic who told him to come the day after for his 3rd blood test. Today he totally lost it when the clinic told him it forgot to prepare the glucose solution for him to drink for the test.

Insurance contract invalid.

With many of my clients stuck overseas it’s becoming popular to chat and even close deals over Zoom etc. I called one in Australia and to my horror he took up a term plan with another insurer via Zoom not knowing that the contract has to be signed on Singapore soil to be valid.

Thankfully he was able to get back a full refund and he was kind enough not to take further action against the agent. Please come back to Singapore if you want to take up a Singapore insurance policy please.
