New paper on

3-year results of (UCP) to treat glaucoma published by Jean-François , MD (France) and Florent , MD (France).

Journal of Glaucoma, 2021 May 1; 30(5):428-435
- 104 patients with primary or secondary glaucoma, only 44% with an history of glaucoma incisional surgery
- Single UCP procedure in 79% of eyes,
- IOP reduced from 27.6+/-8.9mmHg to 17.0+/-6.8mmHg at 3 years; few complications and no case of persistent hypotony or phthisis bulbi.
- 43% of IOP reduction in responding patients

“This is the first study reporting long-term results of UCP. It shows that UCP is an efficient and safe procedure to treat glaucoma and confirms the findings of comparable studies with shorter duration".
