🎨✨ A Colourful Journey at Dorset Road!

Over 300 residents, families, and volunteers came together across four weekends to create the Dorset Mural — a vibrant storybook of the neighborhood's past and present. 🏘️💛

From the old boxing ring 🥊 and horse-racing track 🐎 to today’s homes, playgrounds, and community spaces, the mural celebrates Dorset Road’s rich transformation. In a sustainable twist ♻️, empty medicine bottles were repurposed as paint containers by lead artist Anne Neo from PSS! 🎨💊

A beautiful reminder that community building, like art, is a shared journey. 🌈🤝

Just last week, PSS hosted our annual Know Your Medicines, Get It Right! event — and it was wonderful to see so many participants gathered at Toa Payoh Community Club! The programme provided an opportunity for elderly attendees to learn more about the prevention and management of osteoporosis, falls, and frailty, proper medication use, storage, and disposal, as well as how to access reliable health information sources.

A heartfelt thank you to our student and pharmacist volunteers for their dedication and passion in making this event a success! Together, we’re building a healthier and more informed future.

What does it take to be a resilient and future-ready pharmacy technician?

At this year’s Singapore Pharmacy Congress 2025 Pharmacy Technician’s Masterclass, participants had a blast learning from engaging speakers, taking part in hands-on sessions, and exploring exciting future education and career opportunities.

And during the SPC PT Symposium, they learned how to embrace new technologies and expand their roles — from automation to smoking cessation counselling and beyond!

From 3 to 9 Nov 2025, we mark the 10th anniversary of . As we celebrate this milestone, PSS would like to share the role of Health Sciences Authority (HSA) ensuring that medicines are safer. Health Sciences Authority (HSA) reviews all medicines for their safety and efficacy before they are approved for use in Singapore, and continuously monitors and assesses the safety profiles of medicines even after they have been approved for use.

The monitoring of side effects suspected to be associated with approved medicines provides important information for HSA to identify key safety concerns and ensure the continued safe use of the medicines. Side effects are unwanted effects that occur after taking a medicine. These events can range from mild to serious reactions and can happen even when the medicine is taken as prescribed.

Report suspected side effects to your healthcare professional. Your healthcare professional can report side effects to HSA to help improve the safety of medicines for everyone.
