Yoga is a process of gaining control over the mind. Yoga is also known as the skillful trick to calm down the mind. At Nurturing Souls, it's not only about the physical fitness that you will gain but it's more about how you want to make some positive changes in your lifestyles.

I specialise in Therapeutic Yoga and Yamuna Ball Rolling. All classes generally involve a practice of both.

Therapeutic Yoga

While any type of yoga can bring health benefits, therapeutic yoga involves employing a variety of yoga practices to try to improve health concerns or conditions (e.g. muscular aches, arthritis, obesity) or to ease a natural process (e.g. pregnancy or menopause). Among the yogic tools used therapeutically are asana (the physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.
