I specialise in Therapeutic Yoga and Yamuna Ball Rolling. All classes generally involve a practice of both.
Therapeutic Yoga
While any type of yoga can bring health benefits, therapeutic yoga involves employing a variety of yoga practices to try to improve health concerns or conditions (e.g. muscular aches, arthritis, obesity) or to ease a natural process (e.g. pregnancy or menopause). Among the yogic tools used therapeutically are asana (the physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation.
Yamuna Ball Rolling
Yamuna Ball Rolling or YBR is a form of self-massage. Balls of various sizes and firmness, body weight and small movements are used to release tension from various muscles. YBR helps relieve muscle tension and improves flexibility and mobility.
