Sea Angel

Sea Angel Sea Angels lead in community efforts to save fishermen, protect our nature and preserve kampung lifestyle. HE DISCOVERED MONEY COULD NOT BUY BACK HIS HEALTH.

Back in year 2002, an engineer consultant decided that he no longer wants to live in a stressful environment! Urban living (workaholism & time poverty) has cost him his mental health - including depression, pills and a suicide attempt.

1. So he left his job. He built a floating home on the sea, became neighbours with fishermen, and enjoyed an unblocked sunset view every evening.

2. HE DISCOVERED WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE SIMPLY. Using sea breeze as his air-conditioner, avoiding superficial interactions (i.e. mobile messaging), raising fish for food...

3. HE DISCOVERED THE BEAUTY OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. He learnt how to install solar panels, collect rainwater, study how oil spill & algae bloom affects mangroves and fish farms...

One word: Paradise! Then, one day, he looked around and realised his neighbours are also not getting any younger. Will such wisdom be lost in the sea? That's when he decided to invite more people to experience living by the sea - and coined it as "Sea Angel". https://www.livingfishervillage.com/seaangel/
