Dr Bertha Woon (云莹莹医生) is a specialist in GENERAL SURGERY with a subspeciality interest in Breast Surgery, particularly breast conservation surgery for cancer, sometimes referred to as oncoplastic surgery. She is also a life member of ELSA (Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia). General surgery is a discipline that requires knowledge of and familiarity with a broad spectrum of diseases that may require surgical treatment. In Singapore, a specialist in General Surgery, by definition, is competent in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of disease. General surgeons also carry out endoscopy such as oesophagogastroscopy and colonoscopy.
