Mylo, the Doxie mix, overstayed for 16 years. He followed his sisters home for a supposed 2 week playdate and somehow just never left.

He was greedy, athletic and full of energy. A mix of traits guaranteed to endear him to his hooman sisters. Mealtimes became such a blast as the little girls waited for Mylo's little head to appear above the table's edge. Every great leap was rewarded with a table scrap.

Mylo, the great stealer of hearts, was entertaining, spontaneous, cheeky and devoted to his family. Nothing ever fazed him, even when he was hit by a car after dashing out of the gate, he just picked himself up and trotted back into the house and carried on.

He would do anything for his family though, even when he had no appetite, he would eat for his family if they sat down next to him and cajoled him a little.

Little Mylo crossed the rainbow bridge last year. His family miss him greatly, the little interloper had left such a deep impression on their hearts. Run free dear Mylo, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Chocolate, the Shih Tzu, was neither chocolate coloured nor could she eat chocolate. But it was the name she chose, the name she responded to.

Chocolate had been rehomed 3 times by the time she was 6 months old. She was in bad shape and needed multiple showers before she was restored to good health. Her furever family were not told her name, so they threw out various names but she just stared blankly until they said "Chocolate" and the little puppy broke into a smile.

Chocolate shrugged off her rough start in life and grew up into a brave, happy-go-lucky and forgiving girl. She wasn't the type to follow you around the house, she would be found instead in a sunny spot enjoying the rays.

Chocolate was definitely a girl, she loved being groomed and her teeth brushed. She fussed over her hairdo, making her mom retie her locks until she was satisfied it had sufficient glam factor.

Dearest Chocolate crossed the rainbow bridge last year and her family miss her sunny presence in their home. Run free dear Chocolate, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Bonnie, the Shnauzer-Shih Tzu mix, was the self appointed Keeper of Household Happiness.

He was a smart and extremely empathetic boy. He had the uncanny ability to sense if any of his precious hoomans were feeling sad. He would quietly trot up and look into their face with the greatest concern, offer a paw of comfort and climb into their lap. He always managed to replace the sadness with his protective love.

He also hated to see his family at odds with each other and would immediately run over to mediate whenever voices were raised. Poor little Bonnie did not realise that these "outbursts" were often staged just to see his comic efforts running back and forth to restore peace.

Bonnie was a sweet, little boy who loved his collection of balls, his chew toys, food and most of all his hoomans.

Bonnie crossed the rainbow bridge last year. His family greatly miss his loving presence and will remember him always. Run free dearest Bonnie, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Toto, the toy poodle, was a shy and timid little boy. He held himself back, watching and waiting till he was called.

He was a quiet baby, he did not demand, he did not beg. He never chose to impose, but was patient and considerate and was greatly loved for his sweet nature.

The only time that Toto let loose was when he went to the beach. He loved the sand, the waves, the balmy air and would run around in pure joy, free from his usual self-imposed reserve. It was a joy to see him run around in pure abandon. 🥰

Toto loved his family and welcome every family member home with the greatest delight. His other great love was durian, every little lick was savoured with the greatest pleasure.

Toto crossed the rainbow bridge last year. His family remember their quiet little friend fondly and will always carry him in their hearts. Run free Toto, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Pixie, the chihuahua, was scared of everything when she was first rehomed. She was startled by flying newspapers, her own shadow and loud noises. She was even afraid of stepping on grass.

Her confidence grew over time and she started enjoying going on walks. She loved sniffing the exciting smells, being outside and sneaking up on birds!

She loved being stroked by her family and these never lasted long enough according to Pixie. She would stick out her paw to politely ask for the love to continue.

Pixie crossed the rainbow bridge last year. Her family remember that funny, little girl dearly. Run free Pixie, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Fluffy, the maltipoo, had the ability to fill entire rooms with love despite being a very little dog.

He had a quiet presence, sitting patiently while gazing gently at his family. He never pestered, he never uttered a sound. They understood his love language perfectly and his devotion was invariably rewarded by table scraps sent his way.

He found great pleasure in the simplest things such as his little walks with his family to explore the world. He always remembered to bring his stuffie Bunny with him, to show Bunny what he encountered outside so they could have a chat about it afterwards, perhaps?

He loved to play hide and seek with his family and would also perform a roll call in his head, never leaving his vigil at the door till every family member was home and accounted for.

Fluffy crossed the rainbow bridge last year, his family miss him dearly but have many memories of his gentle glances and steadfast love to carry with them always. Run free dear Fluffy, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Jubie, the silkie terrier, was a sweet little thing who was a nanny to the children in the family. She would look out for them and was incredibly gentle with them.

Jubie, however, didn't like other dogs. Her body would tense up and she let out a low growl every time another dog approached. Perhaps she depised all other dogs or perhaps she just didn't want them near her precious family, no one ever figured it out. She only mellowed in her old age and started to have a few doggie friends she could play with.

Her family were delighted and quickly took the opportunity to celebrate her birthday at a pet cafe. They wanted to make a fuss of their little girl who had finally learnt social skills late in life. Jubie had a blast, and even met a few new doggie friends and no growls were exchanged that day.

Jubie finished strong, she crossed the rainbow bridge a few weeks after her birthday. Her family remember their funny little girl with great fondness. Run free dear Jubie, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Zenus was a rescue pupper whose bright little grin would make you lose your heart forever.

He was a little dynamo, always full of energy and also full of affection.

He was an easy going good boi and would eat anything but his favourites were beef and broccoli!

He was a tenderhearted little fella and would get most upset when he got told off. He loved his hamsters and would get so excited when the hamsters were let out to play. He even managed to find a missing hamster who had escaped his enclosure during the night.

Zenus crossed the rainbow bridge last year, but will live always in his family's heart. Run free dear Zenus; go with our love. 🙏🌈

Phantom's story was one of instant connection. His spontaneous, little high five through the glass led him to be chosen. His future family knew in that moment that he was the one for them.

So began the little Japanese Spitz's charmed existence. He wanted for nothing, his family surrounded him with love and his favourite bananas and chicken were in plentiful supply.

Teddy, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, never lost his sweet innocence and woke every morning looking forward to the good things that would happen for him. 🩷

Teddy was a very lucky puppy indeed. He had been chosen by his guardian when he was a little puppy, and as his guardian scooped Teddy up, he also made a silent resolution to always take good care of this little puppy.

It was thus that Teddy lived in a world where he was always loved, always appreciated and could look forward to nice things in the near future. He grew up believing he had a share in everything, belonged always and would be welcome anywhere.

It wasn't narcissism that made Teddy believe that a special tray of siew mai being made for someone was intended for him. No, it was because of his unwavering trust in the goodness of people around him and the abundant love he experienced in the world. This belief always shone through in his eyes, and yes Teddy got to have a siew mai. 🤗

Teddy crossed the rainbow bridge last year, but will live forever in his family's hearts. Run free dearest Teddy, go with our love. 🙏🌈

Yumee, the Chow Chow, was the friendliest fur cloud you could ever meet.

She came to her furever family when she was 7 years old. Thanks to her wonderful temperament, she had no trouble fitting in. Calm and easy going Yumee was always happy to get a pat, from her family or from a stranger. She didn't bark and spent most of her time flopped on the floor, like a giant mound of candy floss. She always had a good natured grin plastered on her face as she watched her family go about their business.

She was a comforting presence, and they would throw her a loving glance, or give her a quick scratch as they went about their chores, glad for this pure, sweet girl who asked so little but loved so much.

Yumee loved her excursions and would get really excited when she got into the car, knowing that a wonderful new experience awaited her. She loved to sleep and would sink into deep slumber, emitting loud snores that would rattle the roof tiles and wake her family.

Yumee crossed the rainbow bridge last year. Her family miss her dearly but Yumee left them many happy memories and she will live forever in their hearts. Run free dear Yumee, go with our love. 🙏🌈
