🎆Happy Fourth of July! 🎆 As we celebrate today's festivities with extravagant firework shows, concerts, and other forms of noise exposure, it is most important to protect your hearing from loud noises that can ultimately damage your hearing. Below are 3 tips on how you can protect your hearing:

🎇 Maintain a safe distance from fireworks- Stand at least 500 ft away.
👂 Use hearing protection such as custom earplugs/earmuffs.
✅ Know your limits- Remove yourself from loud environments if you feel overwhelmed by noises or experience ringing in your ears.

🌡️Stay Cool: Avoid leaving hearing aids in direct sunlight or hot cars.
🧽Dry & Clean: Avoid exposure to humidity and sweat. Wipe down hearing aids daily.
💧Water Alert: Remove hearing aids before swimming. Do not submerge hearing aids in any water.
🔋Battery Care: High temps can drain batteries. Charge hearing aids in a cool, dry area.
