When someone asked why I no longer speak to a certain person, I gave an honest answer. Their response? “Why don’t you be the bigger person and reach out?”

People often confuse being the bigger person with constantly reopening old wounds, hoping for a different outcome. But real growth means knowing when to step back. It means recognizing when a relationship has become toxic, when conversations lead nowhere, and choosing peace over endless cycles of frustration.

Reaching out over and over, only to be met with the same disrespect, broken trust, or unresolved issues, is draining. Being the bigger person doesn’t mean tolerating mistreatment—it means prioritizing your own well being. It’s okay to leave behind relationships that no longer serve you, to protect your peace, and to love people from a distance when closeness only brings chaos. Some chapters don’t need revisiting and some doors are meant to stay closed.

Me: No, that’ll be too short. Move slow. No swift or too spontaneous action. I’ll start at the shoulders & won’t go past my neckline.

Higher Self: (sigh of relief). Yessssssss girl. That’s it. You’re listening. You hear me. You’re trusting and following. Good job.

3 days later.

Me: ugh! All this hair is too much. I’m so ready to just cut it all off right now.
I’ll just take an inch off the length, no one will even notice.
An inch won’t make any difference, two inches!!!

Higher Self: With what scissors. Your hair cutting scissors are dull, that leaves thinning sheers, for THINNING.

Me: Have you not noticed how much hair I have? I could use the thinning sheers & kill to birds with one stone.

Higher Self: (cracking up) Yea and walking around like you got into a fight with electric garden sheers.

Me: Maybe. But maybe not.

Higher Self: Just be patient & wait.

Me: I’m just going to be patient and wait for my hair appointment.

Higher Self: Yes! There you go. You’re listening. You’re trusting and following. Piece of cake.

Me: I’ll bet my utility scissors are sharp enough. It’s only an inch or two, no one will even notice.

Facebook Groups who create rules PROHIBITING outside links to be included in posts are BLOCKING TRUTH to be received by its members. This rule BLOCKS it’s members from RAISING THEIR VIBRATIONS HIGHER, CHANGE, GROWTH, EVOLVING OF THE SOUL, a STRONG BELIEF SYSTEM, & the guidance of the SUBCONSCIOUS. This is a DIS-SERVICE to all its members and a form of CONTROL - only allowing certain or specific subjects to be discussed without any proof being provided by outside resources. My jaw drops and is literally on the floor when I see strangers on social media leaving UNKIND comments to another stranger they’ve never even met before.
I have the ability to see beyond all actions of a personality, with also knowing the internal causation of actions, which allows me to feel compassion for people.

However..

UNKIND actions/behaviors are no different than standing naked in the middle of the street for all of society to witness and judge the splintered aspects of your soul, which I find to be personal and not for show & tell.

Nothing is meant to be taken PERSONALLY, because everything we feel originates from WITHIN, pointing to the reflection in the mirror & not the person external of us.

Imagine leaving an unkind comment to a stranger on social media and another STRANGER takes a screenshot of your harsh & unkind comment for others to understand how unnecessary and mortifying it is to be an UNKIND HUMAN at any time, not only on social media.
Just because you cannot see the words you speak, doesn’t mean they dissolve into thin air as though they’ve never been said.
EVERY SINGLE WORD EVER SPOKEN BY ALL PERSONS IS ALIVE AND FLOATING IN THE ETHER AROUND US.
They haven’t dissolved.

All I ask is for everyone who reads this post is to make a conscious effort to be a KIND HUMAN to anyone everywhere & to have the awareness that your emotions aren’t at the fault of others, but are a reflection of who you are internally- with the actions of projecting (vomiting 🤮), them onto others.
