Feelin’ Those Good Vibrations
I first experienced sound healing, sound baths and vibrational sound therapy in Portland, where I left those sessions feeling a release of tension, and a sense of peace that stayed with me long after the session was over. I became an enthusiastic student and practitioner of sound healing. Adding sound vibration to the healing process produces wonderful effects.
In Port Townsend, WA, I am blessed to be surrounded by the natural beauty and sounds of the ocean. Each day I walk by the sea, and the sounds of its rhythmic, soothing waves washes away sorrow and the cares of the day.
The soothing sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls placed on the body, also wash away tension and cares. The sounds not only entrain the brain and induce deep states of relaxation, they provide a cellular sound massage. Like other kinds of meditation, sound massage can help us be more internally aware while being more present in the moment and more connected with our surroundings.
I invite you to experience the benefits of these “good vibrations” for yourself.
