Platelet-Rich Plasma for Knee Osteoarthritis
PRP therapy has gained attention as a promising treatment for knee osteoarthritis (OA) due to its regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. Known for its ability to significantly reduce pain and improve knee function, PRP achieves this through the action of growth factors that promote tissue repair and cartilage regeneration. Additionally, PRP’s anti-inflammatory cytokines help alleviate joint swelling and inflammation, providing overall symptom relief.
However, to fully unlock the potential of PRP therapy for knee OA, the correct dose is essential for long-term clinical efficacy. Research consistently shows that the right amount of platelets can significantly improve pain, mobility, and joint function over time.

💡 An optimal PRP dose enhances the regenerative properties of growth factors and cytokines, promoting tissue healing and reducing inflammation.

✅ Tailoring the dose of PRP to each patient is critical for achieving lasting results in OA treatment. Make sure to focus on precise, clinically supported dosages to get the best therapeutic benefits.

Update - we were prepared to come in for clinic today, but the road in our business park is not passable without a four wheel drive. The path to the office is all ice. We will switch to remote visits for the next few days. Thank you for understanding. We are prepared for Hurricane management, but not so much for ice storms!

01/22/2025

We are operating remotely today- Wednesday, January 22 - due to adverse weather and road conditions. Despite these challenges, we remain available to assist and will be checking messages throughout the day via voicemail and our portal. A decision regarding tomorrow's opening hours will be made later today. If you have a scheduled appointment for tomorrow and would prefer to reschedule, please leave a message. Stay safe and warm!
