** CITADEL SHIELD/SOLID CURTAIN EXERCISE**
Beginning Monday, January 26, 2026 through Friday, February 6, 2026, Naval Support Facility Beaufort and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Beaufort will be participating in Exercise Citadel Shield - Solid Curtain 2026, the Navy's annual antiterrorism exercise.
You may experience increased security measures at the gate and throughout the installation. Please arrive early for appointments and plan ahead for possible delays. We thank you for your patience as our security personnel participate in this training.

Congratulations to Our Newest Command Career Counselors!

A direct investment in our readiness and retention: HM2 Moore, HM2 Graham, and HM2 Brannon have successfully completed the intensive Career Development Team Course!

Their dedication directly advances one of the Navy Surgeon General's highest priorities: to Assemble and Retain Talented Navy Medical Forces. In accordance with the recent Presidential Executive Order, Naval Hospital Beaufort will have adjusted services on December 24th and 26th.

Here's what you need to know:

• 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: If you have an appointment scheduled on December 24th or 26th, we will contact you to reschedule at your convenience.

• 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: All surgeries and procedures scheduled for December 24th and 26th will take place as planned.

• 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 (𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵): The main pharmacy will be open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Please note, the drive-thru pharmacy will be closed.

During the upcoming holiday period, the Women’s Health Clinic (WiCS) will not be available on the following dates:

- December 18, 2025
- December 25, 2025
- January 1, 2026

We welcome you to utilize the WiCS clinic on the following days in preparation for the holiday season:

- December 4, 2025
- December 11, 2025

Normal operations of the WiCS clinic will resume Thursday, January 8, 2026. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the Naval Hospital Beaufort, Primary Care Clinic at 843-228-5175.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Naval Support Facility Beaufort, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Beaufort, and Naval Hospital Beaufort will continue normal operations.
The command remains in condition of readiness 3.

The installation has been ordered to Hurricane Condition of Readiness (COR) 3. Destructive winds are possible within 48 hours.

NMRTC Beaufort will provide updates to reflect storm condition changes and command decisions that will affect personnel and their families.

Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command/Naval Hospital/Navy Support Facility Beaufort is currently in Hurricane Condition of Readiness 4.

Make necessary preparations for possible destructive force winds in the next 72 hours.

A few tips to prepare:
Clear debris around house
Secure loose equipment/boats
Stock up on non-perishables
Prepare the items on your Disaster Supplies checklist
Review shelter locations/evacuation routes
Ensure you have propane and fuel for vehicles Move valuables upstairs or store inside closets
Have adequate CASH on hand
Follow instructions from official sources only
Notify family of your emergency plans
