Happy Winter Solstice!❄️

Today marks the shortest day + longest night of the year, and the *official* start of winter although the beautiful sunshine today makes it hard to believe☺️

There is so much significance around a solstice, truly an “astronomical event,” but what really speaks to me — particularly with the year coming to a close — is the idea of new beginnings.

Of the power of pausing.
Slowing down, going inward, getting clear.
Releasing what no longer serves.
Making space for new.
Honoring both the light AND the dark.

After all, we can’t have one without the other and they are each beautiful in their own unique way.
