River Oaks is designed to be home for seniors who need assisted living or memory care services. For those with memory loss, River Oaks offers a specialized program developed by our Executive Director who is a nationally certified Dementia Care Practitioner. We understand that memory loss is a family affair, so our multi faceted program is geared to support not only residents but also those who love them. River Oaks provides a variety of floor plans with options for private or companion living all with complimentary basic cable services. Accommodations are leased on a month-to-month basis with no long term contract. River Oaks strives to make each meal a satisfying experience in every way. Weekly menu selections are diverse and rotated regularly. Residents enjoy weekly specials and a cocktail hour. Our "At Your Service" program offers weekly laundry, linen and housekeeping services, complimentary transportation to area medical and related appointments. Our dedicated associates provide 24-hour assistance with all Activities of Daily Living (medication management, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, eating, ambulation and toileting/continence care) based on individualized care plans. River Oaks' full time Activity Director is a licensed Dementia Program Manager and develops individualized activity programming based on each residents preferences. River Oaks has several common areas, a large living room and library, beautifully appointed Low Country porches, and walking areas. River Oaks is nestled in the lovely low country setting of Port Royal, South Carolina. All services are Resident-centered and coordinated by our professional staff with the help of the Resident and family members.
