Gravity Physical Therapy is excited to partner with Walker Smith DPT and welcomes him as part of the team! Walker graduated from The Citadel with honors in 2014 where he lettered four years as a collegiate athlete playing football. Following his time at The Citadel he attended Elon University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program where he graduated with honors in 2017. As part of his practice he has had the opportunity to work with patients from a variety of backgrounds including Olympic/professional athletes, general population, geriatrics, pediatrics and the neurologic population. He has also obtained additional training which includes but isn’t limited to being board certified in manual therapy through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is Dry Needling certified and also COMT (certified orthopedic manual therapy) certified. Beginning his time in Beaufort he began his career working with Tom Hetherington with coastal physical therapy. In his spare time he enjoys all aspects of the outdoors with his wife, perfect little girl and two German short haired pups.
