✨ We are thrilled to highlight Indira Alvarado as the moderator for International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 5 at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel!

Indira Alvarado is a first-generation Latina student, community advocate, and emerging leader born and raised in Allentown. She is a senior at Lehigh University, graduating this spring, pursuing a degree in Political Science with minors in Global Studies and Sociology. Her academic interests center on gender equity, social justice, youth empowerment, and access within social and legal systems. Driven by a passion for public service, Indira plans to continue her education in law, with the goal of using legal and policy-based tools to support marginalized communities, specifically immigrants. On campus, she serves as President of Lehigh’s Latinx-Caribbean Dance Team, Tumbao, fostering cultural expression, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging. Through her academic work and student leadership, Indira strives to build a future rooted in advocacy, empowerment, and meaningful community impact.

✨ We are thrilled to highlight Thuy Vu Taitt as a panelist for International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 5 at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel!

Thuy Taitt serves as Chief Litigation Counsel at Air Products, where she leads the Company’s global litigation strategy and oversees its most significant, high value disputes. In this role, she provides strategic direction on complex matters worldwide, with particular focus on disputes involving sophisticated commercial issues and major construction claims. Thuy partners closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage risk, protect the Company’s interests, and align litigation strategy with broader business objectives. In addition to her litigation leadership responsibilities, Thuy serves as Secretary of the Air Products Foundation, supporting the governance and administration of the Company’s philanthropic initiatives. She is a former board member of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, a statewide nonprofit focused on improving Pennsylvania’s judicial system and increasing public confidence in it. She attended the University of Pennsylvania as an undergraduate and University of Virginia School of Law.

Traveling While Black is a film by Academy Award winner Roger Ross Williams and Emmy Award-winning Felix & Paul Studios that transports viewers to historic Ben's Chili Bowl diner in Washington, D.C. Viewers share an intimate series of moments with several of Ben's patrons as they reflect on their experiences of restricted movement and race relations in the United States.

✨ We are thrilled to highlight Corinne Goodwin as a panelist for International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 5 at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel!

Corinne Goodwin (She/They) is the founder and Executive Director of Eastern PA Trans Equity Project, a non-profit organization which has a mission of empowering transgender individuals throughout a 42-County area of Eastern and Central Pennsylvania. An award-winning community leader and in-demand speaker, Corinne actively works on issues impacting the lives of LGBTQ Pennsylvanians. Corinne is a member of the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs and was a founding board member of Keystone Equality. As the leader of the Trans Equity Project, she works to advance LGBTQ+ rights in coalition with organizations that include the Human Rights Campaign, Pennsylvania Commission for Fairness & Justice, the ACLU, the Pennsylvania Youth Congress and more.
